Lloyd Street School

 

Lloyd Street School is an authorised International Baccalaureate, Primary Years Programme School which provides a rigorous, innovative and comprehensive curriculum for its students.  Underpinning the schools program is a commitment to the belief that in addition to attaining high academic standards the school has a responsibility to develop in its students the ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship.

Lloyd Street School provides an extensive curriculum programme, which includes a broad range of specialist programmes and extra curricula activities.  Visual Art, Information and Communication Technology, Indonesian, Philosophy and Physical Education experts work closely with classroom teachers to provide comprehensive learning opportunities for the students. Opportunities which ensure that students not only develop a deep understanding and mastery of critical skills, knowledge and concepts, but also an understanding of how they best learn.

Lloyd Street is located in Malvern East, a residential suburb in the City of Stonnington, the school educates 525 students, most of whom live close to the school within the enrolment zone.  The community is actively involved in all aspects of the School's program, with parents being positive, valued and vital partners in their children's education.
