Lloyd Street Fair 2024
Excitement is in the air as we gear up for our much-anticipated 2024 Lloyd Street Community Fair!
On Saturday 26th October we come together for a celebration of our vibrant community; the event promises to showcase our cultures, talents, and interests that make our school community truly exceptional.
Expect: thrilling rides, food stalls to satisfy any craving, silent auction and epic raffle, pre-loved goods stalls, a variety of activities and entertainment.
Funds raised at this year’s Fair will go towards further redevelopment of the play area on the lower level of the school grounds. Plans for this area will be finalised following extensive consultation with Lloyd Street Primary students and staff and local community.
Cashless Event
The Lloyd Street Fair will again be a cashless event, with payment methods on the day including EFTPOS at each stall, as well as Tokens and Ride Passes. Tokens and ride passes will be available to purchase on the day or in advance, and we will keep everyone updated when these are available via QKR.
Dogs For Life: New to this year's Fair line up!
Dogs for Life are thrilled to be a part of this year's school fair!
Dogs For Life is dedicated to training assistance dogs for people living with disabilities. The journey of these incredible dogs starts with a foster family.
Foster families play a crucial role in this process, and we support them every step of the way. Not only is this a rewarding experience, but it's also a wonderful lesson in responsibility and empathy for children. Plus, you get to enjoy the joys of having a dog without any outgoing costs!
We cannot do it without the generous support of our foster families. Come visit our booth at the fair to meet some of our dogs, learn more about how you can get involved, and enjoy some cuddles with our furry friends. We look forward to meeting you!
Please visit our website for more information or to submit an expression of interest: www.dogsforlife.com.au or call 1800 965 165.
Student Art Exhibition
Students are working hard on their pieces for the Fair's Student Art Exhibition.
Every student will have an artwork on display in the Exhibition which will be located in the Music Room and Gym.
They have taken inspiration from the Fair logo and colours, and the theme is food.
It’s sure to be a vibrant exhibition to explore!
Talent Show!
Registration Forms are available from the office, with applications closing on Friday 11th October.
Acts should last between 2 to 3 minutes each, and each child, including those in group acts, should have no more than 2 performances. Any music required needs to be given to the office along with your completed Form on a clearly named USB.
If you have any questions, please reach out to: lloydstreetfair@gmail.com.
COMMUNITY NOTICES
The participation of everyone in our school community will create memorable experiences for students and families. We encourage everyone to get involved, and are excited to make this year’s Lloyd Street Community Fair a resounding success!

Do you live on a busy or main road?
We would love your help to advertise the event with a large Real Estate board supplied by our major sponsor Marshall White, for 3 weeks in the lead up to the Fair.
We're scouting for locations on main roads such as Burke Road, Darling Road, Dandenong Road, Wattletree Road, Malvern / Waverley Road, or anywhere prominent in the Malvern East, Glen Iris, Malvern and Ashburton vicinity.

Class Roster Sign Up
Details of Class Rosters will be shared via Class Convenors for all parents and carers to help out at the Fair by volunteering their time at our fantastic parent-led stalls.
Shifts will be available throughout the day, with a list of available slots via the Sign Up links. We encourage all to come along to participate! Helping at these stalls is a great way to connect with the community, and contributes to making the Lloyd Street Fair a huge success.
End of Term 3 Donation: Class Themed Hampers
To help make this year’s silent auction as successful and bountiful as ever, we are calling on each class to contribute a themed hamper.
During the last week of Term 3 (16th - 20th September), every child is encouraged to bring an item that lends itself to their class’s allocated theme. Please feel free to contribute whatever you think may suit! Alternatively, the class convener or a parent volunteer could collect funds from each family and purchase a number of items on behalf of the class.
Details will be shared via Class Convenors. Thanks for your support!
